This isn’t therapy. It’s regular, nervous system regulation, EMDR-based and designed to keep you going.

Will Shift Often EMDR therapy help me?

Each group is led by a trained EMDR facilitator and follows the same 30-minute format:

  • Short welcome and orientation

  • Guided bilateral tapping (no sharing required)

  • Gentle wrap-up and self-regulation support

How EMDR therapy works

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a therapy method that helps your brain and body process stuck stress. At Shift Change, we use the ASSYST protocol, which involves gentle, rhythmic tapping on both sides of your body.

FAQs

  • Yes. Monthly plans are flexible. The Unlimited tier is prepaid for three months at a time.

  • No. Sessions are entirely non-verbal and private.

  • Missed sessions on the monthly plan aren’t refunded. Unlimited members can attend any session they like within the month.

  • Not quite. It’s a therapeutic tool based on EMDR, but it's not clinical therapy or a replacement for it. Many participants use Shift Often alongside therapy.
